Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Tapestry, a relationship intelligence platform operated by AMS Global Ventures, LLC ("we", "us", "our", "Company"), a Delaware limited liability company. By using Tapestry, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Tapestry is a local-first relationship intelligence platform that helps you understand and maintain your personal and professional network. The service includes a desktop application, optional cloud sync, and related features.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Tapestry. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your Data

You own your data. Tapestry processes relationship data locally on your device. We do not claim any ownership or rights to your personal data, contacts, messages, or relationship information.

  • Local data remains entirely under your control.
  • Cloud-synced data (Pro tier) is encrypted and can be deleted at any time.
  • You can export all your data at any time in standard formats.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Tapestry for any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except as permitted by law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data.
  • Use the service to stalk, harass, or harm another person.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to Tapestry without our written consent.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.

6. Paid Plans

  • Free tier: Tapestry's core features are free and run entirely on your device.
  • Pro tier: Paid features (cloud sync, email delivery, SMS notifications) are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access to paid features continues through the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: We offer a full refund within 14 days of your first payment if you're not satisfied. After that, no refunds for partial billing periods.
  • Price changes: We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase.

7. Intellectual Property

Tapestry, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of AMS Global Ventures, LLC. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Tapestry is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AMS Global Ventures, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Tapestry. Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AMS Global Ventures, LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of Tapestry or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using Tapestry at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your local data remains on your device. Cloud-synced data will be deleted within 30 days of account termination unless you request earlier deletion.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Tapestry after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in New York County, New York.
